About Cianeh A. Kpukuyou
Cianeh A. Kpukuyou (Ask Photos) is an award-winning documentary lifestyle photographer, creative director, and filmmaker. Her artistry is a testament to her deep-rooted passion for visual storytelling and her profound connection to the people and cultures that inspire her. Through her lens, Cianeh explores uncharted territories, crafting narratives that resonate with authenticity and depth. Her journey into photography began humbly, using her iPhone 6 to capture and edit images. Her older sister nurtured her talent by giving her a camera, which allowed her to explore further and develop her skills. It wasn't long before Cianeh had worked with Paramount Studio, Tate Modern, Vogue, WaterAid, El Anatsui, and many more.
Cianeh was awarded by the British Journal of Photography one of 30 winning single images for Portrait of Humanity 2024. Her work can be seen in publications such as Tate Modern, Condé Nast Traveller, Photo Vogue, Milk, Flicker, It's Nice That, Cosy, The Year Time Stop Book, Portrait of Humanity Book Vol. 6, and many others. With each click of the shutter, Cianeh's vision evolved, guided by her unwavering passion for visual storytelling and her deep connection to the people and communities that inspire her. Today, she stands as a creative force, pushing the boundaries of her craft and inviting audiences to join her on a mesmerising visual journey that celebrates the beauty and diversity of our shared world.
