Hello everyone, we’d like to take this opportunity to catch a bit of the remaining sun to get together for a BFA Summer Meet Up with Wallen + daub and Next Generation Architecture. This event is open to all ☀️

We have some very special guests. Danei Cesario from Wallen Daub who’s come all the way from New York to meet you all alongside the wonderful Jackie Yeboah of Next Generation Architecture. These guys are all-round superstars.
Danei Cesario AIA, RIBA, NCARB, NOMA is the 333rd black female architect in American history. Hailing from Manchester, England, she is an internationally licensed architect, project manager, + public speaker. She is a Senior Associate + Project Manager at Mancini Duffy with experience managing dynamic healthcare, education, wellness, life sciences + mixed-use development projects. With over a decade of experience, her leadership has been a significant factor in repeat partnerships.
Beyond the office, Danei’s passion for architecture + advocacy has led her to become a champion for design professionals + a sought-after speaker. Her experience working in diverse, global environments has yielded speaking engagements at numerous national + international conferences + private sector events, including the United Nations, SXSW, Royal Institute of British Architects, AIA National Conference + the New York Building Congress.
Danei served as chair of AIA New York’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee for over five years. Currently, she serves on the AIA New York State Board, representing nearly 10,000 members across 13 chapters, the Consortium for Sustainable Urbanization and the AIA New York Nominating Committee. She is a contributor/ambassador to organizations including Beverly Willis Architecture Foundation, Parlour, Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust + nycobaNOMA Executive Board. Danei is dedicated to fostering Mentorship, Sponsorship + Leadership within the design community. She founded WALLEN + daub to expand on these principles.
Next Generation Architecture (NGA), lead by Jacqueline Yeboah (left) and Chardae Hylton (right) is an organisation that supports, encourages & directs the next generation of designers and architects from underrepresented backgrounds into the field. By offering support through workshops, Instagram lives, constructive advice and support via social media and connections on LinkedIn.
Next Generation Architecture is the bridge between desire and success. So many students and designers have a passion for the field but not enough designers have the tools to succeed the way that they ought to and that is usually due to a lack of guidance and attentiveness.
We believe in being intentional. Building connections and helping the next generation of designers find their place in this field. There is enough room for us all to thrive and flourish.
