V&A Late: Radical Imaginaries

This Friday Late brought together some of the artists, architects and creative practitioners involved in 2023’s Venice Architecture Biennale which put Africa and the African Diaspora at its centre. The programme featured the artists and curators involved in the 2023 British Pavilion and the V&A’s Applied Arts Pavilion, that were on view in Venice. there were performances, talks, installations, and workshops that expanded the imagination and the notion of architecture. As Lesley Lokko, the Ghanaian-Scottish curator of the 2023 biennale said, “it is impossible to build a better world if one cannot first imagine it.”
